Biography
1953 born in Cottbus
1973 Training as a skilled worker in constraction
with examination.
1977–1980 Work as a silkscreen printer in East – Berlin in the
Konsum Advertising Print Shop. Creation of first
own artistical silkscreens.
In addition to the works participation on night courses at the Berlin-Weißensee Art College
1980–1982 Full-time studies in industrial design. Exmatriculation in political reasons 1982.
1982–1984 Foreman of the silkscreen print shop of the Dresden University of Visual Arts
1984-1990 Member of the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR with the own workshop of artistic silkscreen. Printing of first Art books.
In this time intensiv busy with cartoons.
1988 Creation of the first own Art book „Vieh-Guren“
1990 First buyings of graphical works to the Museum Berlinische Gallery
1991 First works on canvas.
First exhibition in New York, Goethe House
1993 Receive the Art Award of the Grundkreditbank, Berlin.
1995 First initial visit to Portugal. Following years many exhibitions in Lisbon, Porto, Braga and other places.
Beginning of ceramic works in Mafra.
2000 First pulp paintings are created in Berlin-Kreutzberg, Art House Bethanien.
Beginning of the cooperation with the Lisbon Galletist Antonio Prates
Ab 2003 First artistical masks are created.
2004 Beginning of the cooperation with the Gallerist Peter Femfert, Frankfurt am Main.
2013 Painting of wine tanks in Italy, Fattoria Nittardi, Toscana and Argentina, Vale Uco, Mendoza
2020 Documantary movie „Changing time“ about work and life of Klaus Zylla.
